Plants have always fascinated me.  Their beauty and uniqueness fill our world providing all of us with such lovely and ever changing picturesque views.  As the seasons change, we can enjoy the new  living portraits that are laid before us.   There's realy so much to learn about all of these plants around us.

I began gardening as a young girl and found great benefit of reaping and sowing the fruits of my labor.  It's a nice feeling to plant a seed and watch it grow into something that's very beneficial to your life whether it be a vegetable, fruit, or flower.

As I've grown older, I've found gardening more fascinating and fun.  Sure, it's a lot of hard work but I've found that a person ends up getting much more  of a positive experience back than what a person puts in it.  Although, not all of my gardening ventures have panned out at times, these trials have given me knowledge on what does and doesn't work and when I try again, out of the knowledge I'v gained, I find my efforts produce a much better outcome.

I enjoy the hard work, the joy, and the satisfaction of gardening and learning about the many different types of plants. I love talking about my plants.   I made the decision to share this joy and knowledge of  gardening because of being asked by friends (even my hairdresser)  about growing different types if plants.  I plan to share several aspects of plants such as the specific elements needed to grow specific types of plants, preparing the vegetables or herbs through preserving processes,  as well as particular folklore associations on the featured plant  (which I find most fascinating)!

My hope is that you find these blogs informational as well as inspirational  and I also hope you enjoy the history and folklore of the different plants.
